Premiums

The Premiums screen displays the related pay code overrides for each pay code when differentials are to be applied. For example, for a Regular 1 pay code; this screen displays the related pay code to assign to employees if calculations determine that overtime, weekend, shift, or holiday differential should be paid.

Replacing Pay Code Premium Values

Pay code premium settings can be replaced (updated) on multiple records at the same time. The selected pay codes must be for the same organization unit.

To replace pay code premiums values, complete the following steps:

  1. From Configuration > Time and Attendance > Pay Code.

  2. Search for the pay codes to be updated with the same pay code premium value.

    Note  

    All pay codes must be in the same organization unit.

  3. Select the records to update by checking the box to the left of the record name.

  4. Click the Replace button in the left pane to open the screen.

  5. Open the Premiums tab.

  6. Check the box to the left of a premium to be updated. The field becomes enabled (activated).

  7. Select the new value from the Field Look Up Values in the right pane. The new value is displayed in the field.

  8. Repeat steps 6-7 to update any additional premium values.

  9. When all values are updated, click Save.

    The updated pay code premium values replace the existing values on all the selected pay code records.
