Stations

The Stations button is displayed in the left pane when there are stations associated with the open labor distribution record. Click on this button to open the screen to assign station qualifications and the related skill level of that station, if applicable.

Note  

This button is only available if the employee is assigned a Position code that is linked to a Station requirement through the Profiles screen. For example, if the employee is assigned the RN-ICU position, and the Profile for Charge Nurse in ICU has a Position requirement of RN-ICU and a station of Charge, the station button is available when an employee is assigned the RN-ICU position.

Depending on the Authorization Role assigned to the user, the following actions may be available:

Adding a Station

To add one or more Station requirements to this position or profile, click on the Add button. The Station Search page is used to filter search criteria when searching for an existing Station code.

Deleting a Station

Delete one or more Station records from the open record.

Filtering the Station Code List

All Stations currently assigned to this position or profile are displayed on the screen. To limit the number of stations displayed, a filter can be applied.

General

Skill Code

The code indicating the minimum skill level required for this station in order to qualify for the related profile or position. If a skill code is attached to a station, the employee must meet or exceed the required skill level value. If no minimum skill is required, leave this field blank.

Code

Filters the station records by the identification code.

Description

Filters the station records by the label description.
